WOW! Champions League Winner Rejects Arsenal, And Liverpool; Wants Chelsea Move?

Chelsea Transfer News

According to the latest reports, Chelsea are looking to add yet another attacker to their current squad and will look to bring the Barcelona star Pedro to Stamford Bridge, who is priced at around €20m.

Earlier reports revealed that the 27-year-old superstar recently turned down offers from Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, preferring to stay in Spain. Now, it looks like the situation has changed and the champions league winner may prefer a transfer move to Chelsea in order to get some game time.

With the Blues looking to sign him, it would be interesting to see whether a deal does go through or not, as the Portuguese boss aims to win the Champions League this season.

Arsenal Preparing A SENSATIONAL Bid To Sign Manchester United And Liverpool Target

Arsenal are now preparing a £22m bid to bring Barcelona forward Pedro to the Emirates, according to recent reports. The Gunners are keen on adding more reinforcements to their squad and will look to sign the Spanish international to their squad. The Metro claimed that the Catalan giants might look to cash in on Pedro and are prepared to listen to offers.

The 27-year-old has not had much playing time as current manager Luis Enrique prefers the trio of Suarez, Neymar and Messi up front. The Spaniard has been given just 13 starts in the La Liga this season and is all set for an exit in the summer. Apart from the north London side, their Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on Pedro.

It is believed that a bid of around £20m will be need to persuade the La Liga outfit to let him go. If indeed the move goes through, the superstar forward could be reuniting with his former team-mate Alexis Sanchez, who joined Arsenal last summer.

Liverpool ready to pay €31m to sign Arsenal target in January

Reports from Spanish website Fichajes have claimed that Liverpool are willing to offer €31m to Barcelona in the upcoming January transfer window to sign Spanish winger Pedro. Arsenal are also interested in the 2010 World Cup winner but the Reds are determined to beat the Gunners in the market in what would be their marquee signing in the winter. Pedro’s future at Barcelona is far from certain. The 27 year old has enjoyed very less game time in the La Liga season so far. New manager has opted to go with wonder-kid Munir El Haddadi and now with the return of Luis Suarez from his four months ban, things are looking downhill for Pedro. The winger is expected to fall further down the pecking order at the Camp Nou and a move to the Premier League would come as a welcome respite.

Arsenal too are in search of a winger striker and with the anticipated departure of German Lukas Podolski in January, it is believed that the Gunners are willing to make an approach but Brendan Rodgers wants to beat the North London club to the Spaniard. Rodgers has been frustrated with Mario Balotelli’s performance so far as he is still on the lookout to sign Luis Suarez’s replacement. The Gunners though could have the upper hand as they signed Alexis Sanchez from the Blaugrana in the summer and could use the Chilean to convince Pedro to make the move in the winter.

Should Liverpool be unable to sign Pedro, the Reds would be looking at the possibility to recall Divock Origi from his loan spell at French side Lille. The Anfield side splashed out more than £110m in the summer but have struggled throughout the season.

Barcelona though would not be inclined to sell the player despite the offer. The Camp Nou outfit have been banned by the FIFA and cannot make signings in the next two transfer windows. Although the ban was temporarily lifted for this summer, it is expected to stay enforced despite the pending appeal from the Catalan club.

Almost Done: Stunning £25m Arsenal Target Hands Transfer Request

Arsenal have been handed a boost for the upcoming transfer window as Barcelona attacker Pedro Rodriguez has apparently handed a transfer request according to reports in Spain.

The 27-year old is unhappy with the lack of opportunities at the club and is edging for a move. According to reports, it’ll take close to £25m to sign the Spanish international. Pedro is contracted with Barcelona until the summer of 2016, so he still has sometime to decide where he wants to move.

The Barcelona academy graduate has found it hard to get into the first team as the addition of Luis Suarez and the emergence of Munir El Haddadi has pushed him down the pecking order. His limited appearances for the club have cost him in the national team setup as well. Pedro was sceptical about his future before the World Cup began and had revealed, “I don’t know what’s going to happen yet, I don’t know anything.

“I’m calm though, I’m at the World Cup and that’s all that matters right now.

“When a decision has to be made, I’ll speak with the club and we’ll see what happens.”

It was already known that he’ll never make it ahead of the trio of Suarez, Neymar and Messi, so the rumours were always there, however, now that he has handed in a transfer request, the window for Arsenal is open.

Arsene Wenger revealed a few days back that there will be signings in the winter transfer window, and with Pedro being unsettled, he could be a gunner come January. He is predominantly a right winger, but he can be deployed on the left as well. Since making his debut for Barcelona in 2008, he has represented the club 278 times and scored 88 goals in the process. His best season was came in 2009 where he scored a total of 23 goals in 52 appearances. If Arsenal do manage to sign him, then it could open the door for Walcott to be deployed in the striker’s role with Sanchez and Pedro on the wings. The setup will add a whole lot of pace to Wenger’s side.

Camp Nou star sparks massive interest from Arsenal

If reports from English media outlet METRO is to be believed, Arsenal are plotting an ambitious swoop to sign Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez in the January transfer window. The report states that the 27 year old has grown frustrated with limited opportunities under new manager Luis Enrique and despite Luis Suarez still serving his ban, the Spaniard isn’t sure of a starting eleven spot.

Moreover with young stars like Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez having blistering starts to the season, Pedro surprisingly finds himself way down the packing order suddenly at the Catalan club.

This throws huge speculations over Pedro’s future as Suarez’s return will surely mean that the former Liverpool forward will automatically partner Messi and Neymar up front for the Camp Nou side. However Pedro will be no short of potential suitors should he heads towards the exit at the Catalan club.

Spanish media outlet SPORT however claimed that Pedro is happy but his critics are growing. The player reportedly said, “Maybe I need a goal, but I am happy. I just want to work and be in the team. I’m competing with the best strikers in the world. I want to do my job and let Luis Enrique decide.”

Pedro would no doubt fit in perfectly at Arsenal should he make a move to the Emirates. Capable of playing on either wings and also the ability playing just off the main striker up front demonstrates his versatility, a key factor which has been lacking at the Gunners.
