No shame in losing to the best team ever

Like most pundits (and yes I am a pundit!) I have decided to use the most common and modern cliché whilst describing Barcelona and they are simply a Playstation team.

Their most impressive weapon isn’t passing to Messi holding down the triangle button and making minced meat off apparent world class defenders or how they majestically pass and move around the pitch like a Saturday morning kick about with “the lads,” but their work off the ball.

Arsenal are arguably the best passing team in the Premiership, which is arguably the best league in the world but even the total football obsessed Wenger had to resort to parking the bus, which was off course to no avail. So if parking the bus doesn’t work, nor does having a go work, personally I would deploy Sunday League tactics or as the shamed former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys would say “smash em,” yes “smash em” not the most sophisticated and shrewd off tactics but one Don Revie would be ever so proud off and might be the only way to stop the best team ever.

So who ever is lucky enough to get the Catalans in the next round, I would strongly suggest the traditional English way to deal with better players and let them know your there.
