I can’t believe it’s Thursday and Nani is still crying

Ok a little exaggeration in the title there, the tackle was terrible from Jamie Carragher in Man United’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, he did warrant a red card. However, Nani’s antics should be deemed unacceptable. Nani was injured, then sprinted to the referee to complain and then dramatically fell in front of Phil Dowd. If there was intent to get Carragher sent off then there is not much sportsmanship here. Also, if he sprinted to the ref, how can it of hurt him that badly? It hurt that badly that it reduced him to tears?

Man United later revealed Nani had a deep gash in his leg, a cut in other words ladies and gentlemen; this caused a grown man to cry. For a player who can sometimes be an unbelievable footballer, he has shown he can’t half, shall we say be in touch with his feminine side? Surely the likes of Steven Gerrard and Nigel De-Jong wouldn’t have done this, if Roy Keane was still in the team I think he would of dragged Nani up himself!

Where have all the tough footballers gone? Can anyone else think of incidents in football when players have been extremely soft? Comment here if you can!
