Help Grassroots!

Grassroots football is finally getting the help it deserves with the FA putting together a strategy for the grassroots game up to 2015.

The FA have created a survey to finally ask the views of thousands to shape the future of football in the country, thank you for finally asking us, we watch it, we know about it, or at least we think we do!

It basically asks your opinions on what you feel are the key achievements of the National Game Strategy from 2008-2011.

The initiatives so far achieved for grassroots football include over 2 million 5-11 year olds benefiting from high quality child centred coaching through the FA Tesco Skills Programme, launch of the FA Respect Programme and over £200m invested into community facilities to improve the quality.

It is good to see that the FA is taking grassroots football seriously, this is where young players start and how they develop into our superstars of today.
