United and Spurs target Ajax star

According to reports in the Dutch media, Tottenham and Manchester United have set their sights on the versatile Ajax defender Vurnon Anita.

The 22-year old can play either at right back or centre half and has been valued at around £8million.

The Ajax man has progressed through the famous Dutch academy and has recently broken into the international team after an impressive season in the Dutch league.

The defender will be out of contract next summer, so any potential move would suit Ajax, as the starlet could leave on a free next summer.
