Russian return for Arshvain

TalkSport reports that Arshvain could be on his way back to his homeland after failing to live up to his early form at the Emirates.

Wenger broke his transfer record for the tricky winger and appeared to be a snippet at £15m, but has failed to nail down a regular spot within the Arsenal ranks and appears to have lost the form that saw him bag 4 against Liverpool.

But a return to Russia appears to be in with sporting director Igor Korneev saying “Zenit’s doors are always open for Andrey”.

“If his situation at Arsenal does not improve and he’s not comfortable in London, we can study this issue in time for next season.”
