Clattenburg saga embarrassing for Chelsea

Following yesterday’s decision from the FA to clear Mark Clattenburg of using a racial slur during Chelsea and Man United’s Premier League clash on the 28th October, the West London club are left with egg on their face after yet inducing yet another reputation shredding drama.

Remember when Joe Cole was at the peak of his powers playing for Chelsea? The Englishman was a pacy, skilful winger who had the ability to contribute goals and could also be deployed just behind the two (or one) frontmen and played a big part in Chelsea winning three Premier League titles.

Don’t drop Torres just yet

Fernando Torres’ stint hasn’t had the best of times at Chelsea. The player himself admitted that there has been some dark times but at the beginning of this season, during Chelsea’s bright start to the season, it appeared Torres had turned a corner and was back to something near his best.
