So the year of 2012 has passed and it’s left us with some great footballing memories to look back on; Justice for the 96, Man City‘s last minute goal, Lionel Messi smashing record after record and a magnitude of quality goals from around the globe.
It’s hard to pick a highlight because of the number of long-ranged belters, mouth-watering dribbles and well-worked team goals and each of us are likely to have our own choices.
For me, I think Ibrahimovic’s bicycle kick definitely deserves to be up there for the sheer cheek to even think about trying it, never mind scoring, and also Falcao’s scissor-kick deserves more recognition than it achieved, however my personal favourite was a goalkeeper scoring a bicycle kick, which you will see in this video.
