Chelsea midfielder reveals plans to leave the club

Whilst all talk is currently focused on the Manchester clubs, United winning the league, Fergie retiring and David Moyes’ appointment, and City having their pants pulled down by Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final and Roberto Mancini apparently receiving the boot after the season finishes, Chelsea have been busy planning their title challenge for next season.

With rumours doing the rounds that a deal for Jose Mourinho to replace their Spanish waiter as manager in the summer, their whispers regarding an upheaval of playing staff has also been touted. Bearing that in mind, Kevin De Bruyne has reported that he has given up hope in search of first team football elsewhere.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen and has proved himself to be a promising talent, scoring eight goals and creating 82 chances for his teammates in his 32 appearances.

With the loan deal ending this summer his options are ready to be decided. What options would they be, I hear you cry. Does he:

A) A move to Borussia Dortmund looks on the cards and the Belgian has admitted that he would be interested in a move to the Westfalenstadion.

B) Bayer Levekusen are said to be desperate to strike a deal with the Blues for De Bruyne as part of the move taking Andre Schurrle to the Bridge this summer.

or;

C) Stay and fight for a place in west London and risk his growth as a player from warming the bench.
