It must be hard for Manchester City fans at present. The trophy has gone back to Manchester United, Roberto Mancini came from Italy to manager Man City – but now he’s gone again, the squad is still packed with average players, and now one of their star players is rumoured to on the way out.
Sergio Aguero has given us plenty of memories since he made his move from Atletico Madrid in 2011. That title winning goal last season deep into stoppage time still send tingles down the back of necks with the commentary of AGUEEERROOOO still ringing in peoples’ ears.
It was a special moment for all football fans no matter which team you support, but now it seems that the little Argentine striker has told his friends in the dressing room that he wants a move. We have been lucky to have a transcript of the conversation:
Carlos Tevez: What’s up, Kun?
Aguero: I miss Bobby [Mancini]. I need to leave.
Tevez: I know how you can have a couple of months in Argentina playing golf. All you have to do is when they ask you to come off the bench…
Brian Kidd: Oi, Carlos. What are you saying our kid?
Tevez: Err… Yo no hablo Inglés.
This script may not be completely true.
Manchester City are gearing up for a summer of change and those expected to join Aguero through the exit doors are Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko, Scott Sinclair, Jack Rodwell, Maicon and Costel Pantilimon.
