It seems like everyday there are new reports linking Gareth Bale to some of the biggest clubs on the planet. Real Madrid, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have all been mentioned to be interested in the Welshman’s services, but the Daily Mail are reporting that Tottenham may actually be able to hang on to him IF they beat Arsenal into the top four.
The north London rivals are trading blows for the crucial Champions League spot and it goes down to the last weekend of the Premier League season to see who gets it. If Spurs manage to leapfrog the Gunners then it is said that they are willing to offer a five year deal worth £40m to Bale.
As people continue to compare him to Cristiano Ronaldo and he keeps scoring goals, the 23-year-old’s transfer value continues to increase, naturally, and it is now suggested that it would take £60m to tempt Spurs into selling.
Is that all?!
It is being suggested that should Cristiano Ronaldo return to Manchester United in the summer then Real Madrid will be going all out to smuggle Bale into the Spanish capital, and with the chance to swap Scott Parker and Clint Dempsey for the likes of Xabi Alonso and Mesut Ozil I cannot see him thinking twice.
