Well, it had to happen, the Uruguyan freak Edinson Cavani moves to Paris Saint-Germain on a five year contract signing for €64 million from Napoli, but where does this leave Zlatan Ibrahimovic now?
Back in the Euro 2004, Italy were playing Sweden, Ibrahimovic scored a crazy backwards goal and suprised everyone. That moment the whole of Europe stopped and wanted him on their side.
Juventus were first to snatch him for €16 million and was a standout for the two seasons that he was there, the Bianconeri were relegated to Serie B and Zlatan chose to leave the club for rivals Inter.
He would go on at Inter to help them secure three consecutive scudetti and cement his name as an estabished forward. Barcelona caught his eye in 2009, they shelled out €69 million on a player that really did not want be there and he was not getting along with the coaching staff either.
In 2010, Italian giants Milan bought him on loan which later they made the loan a permanent one costing the Rossoneri €24 million, he would finish as their leading goal-scorer for both seasons.
Last year the French team PSG, bought the Swede from Milan and they were very happy to have a cenral striker that was capable of winning the Ligue 1.
This current transfer window saw Ibrahimovic wanting to leave for the likes of Juventus and Milan once again, now that Cavani has arrived at the French capital, would Ibrahimovic want to share the spotlight with an inform striker such as the Uruguyan or will he leave for greater pasture such as the English Premier League as he has not played their as yet.
Time will only tell if the two great strikers will be in sync with each other as strikers.
