A player that springs to mind when I think about who can produce some world class strikes is Burkina Faso international, Alain Traore. Perhaps not as unknown as Eric Hassli but equal in terms of some of the stunning goals the two of them have produced.
The 24-year-old has actually been linked with a move to Arsenal in the past so his fame extends beyond the wonder strikes he produces. He currently plays for Lorient in Ligue 1 as an attacking midfielder that sometimes drifts out wide. He shot to fame during the African Cup of Nations after he scored three quite incredible goals, the first time many viewers got to see this players special talent.
In this video we only see 10 of his goals out of a possible 34 scored during his whole career. Having said that, if you’re top 10 goals include some of these then you should be proud of yourself.
My personal favourites amongst his selection are number 4, 3, 2 and 1. I love number 4 because he strikes the ball so cleanly and the distance it covers in such a small amount of time is incredible. It could have done some serious damage to the ‘keeper had he got a hand to it. Number 3 is not only a good build up play, but also another sweet strike.
Number 2 just reminds me of that Robert Pires goal and I love Pires so the links are there to be made. Finally, number 1, not much you can say really because it leaves me speechless in all honesty.
