5 reasons why Arsenal fans should be excited about this season

Arsenal sit top of the Premier League right now, but that isn’t the only reasons that Gunners around the world should be excited. Here are five reasons why Arsenal fans should be excited about this season.

1) Form

The Gunners have collected the most points in this calendar from all Premier League sides and are now seven league games unbeaten. Confidence is up at the Emirates and the performance against Norwich backed that up, where their sweeping, silky football swept away the Canaries in some style.

2) Mesut Ozil

The German has transformed the club both on and off the pitch and certainly seems worth the outlay that they paid in the summer. Ozil has scored twice in the Premier League and has created 14 chances and has acted as the creative hub behind the striker.

3) Aaron Ramsey

Whatever the Wales international was eating over the summer, it definitely worked. Ramsey has scored nine goals in 12 games this season and has played 12 key passes so far in the league and looks like a completely monster than last year.

4) Strength in depth

The Gooners sit on the top of the pile in England right now and are still without Theo Walcott, Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Abou Diaby and Lukas Podolski. Santi Cazorla has also jut returned to action and is already impressing.

5) Arsene Wenger

Wenger is made for Arsenal. His 17 years at the club has seen a wealth of success, and although they are currently without silverware in quite some time, Wenger is the man to lead them back to glory.
