Where Would £30m Midfielder With 93% Pass Accuracy Fit Into Manchester United Side?

We have all had an earful as to where Manchester United are going wrong this season, with most pointing towards the limp midfield that David Moyes currently has at his disposal. However, various outlets are reporting United are in for Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik in what could turn out to be a £30m deal. But where would he fit into the set up?

Moyes is in need of a creative player who is able to pick the ball up from Michael Carrick and create an attack out of nothing, and that’s what Hamsik is. The 26-year-old  has already scored five goals and created 14 chances in his seven Serie A games which is far superior to what anything any United midfielders have conjured up this term.

Hamsik is ideal for the United midriff, in a way that he does everything with efficiency. He has hit the target with 69% of his shots, completed 84% of his passes and won all three of his tackles. He holds the energy levels of Tom Cleverley and the technical ability of Carrick, while holding the attacking panache of Wayne Rooney.

Hamsik has also completed 93% of his passes in the Champions League, which is one of the highest at the club.

Will Moyes get his man?
