The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard, Jan Vertonghen, Kevin de Bruyne, Marouane Fellaini and Simon Mignolet has ensured that Belgium has a heavy stamp on the Premier League. It also seems that there could be another duo making their way over from their respected clubs, with the Daily Star reporting Dennis Praet and Youri Tielemans are attracting interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal.
We at Football Friends decided that we would have a dig about in the pair’s history and present some information to you, our beloved readers.
Praet is the more prominent name from the two and plays for Anderlecht. He is a 19-year-old midfielder who relies on his quick feet and awareness to carve opportunities for his team-mates. He has scored nine goals in 66 games for the club, despite his tender age, and enjoys sitting just behind the striker. He has represented Belgium from U15 right up to U21 level, who he has now played six games for.
Tielemans is also a midfielder, but at 16 he has not had the time to leave his mark on Anderlecht like the aforementioned Praet has. He is also a midfielder, but plys his trade in the defensive areas rather than the attacking. He’s a stocky little player who enjoys a spraying pass, but is also positionally sound in his play.
Will we be watching them sport a Premier League shirt sometime soon?
