If I was Arsene Wenger, this is the midfield that I would consider best.
Mathieu Flamini – CM
The Frenchman has proved to be one of the signings of the season and is slowly wiggling into a crowd favourite again. His tackling is growing stronger and his positional sense is growing stronger every game, making him the perfect battler in the centre of the Gunners’ side.
He was taken off against Norwich after a head injury and gaps instantly started to open, and the same thing happened against Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace.
Aaron Ramset – CM
His goals, his tackling and his passing into the wide areas has been a pleasure to be part of this season. If you had suggested that the Wales internatioanl would be a star you would have laughed at last term.
Santi Cazorla – LAM
The Spaniard was one of the most creative outlets last season at the Emirates, but due to an injury and the arrival of Ozil he has struggled Although naturally a central player, Cazorla can also play wide on the left.
Mesut Ozil – CAM
The German has been incredible since he joined the club on deadline day. His passing, vision, awareness, and the pace that he plays it is alluring to watch and he is making the whole side tick at present.
The Walcott
Although currently injured, Walcott will come straight back into the side when he’s back and will probably slot into the role on the right.
