5 Bundesliga Players Who Could Improve The Arsenal Squad

With Arsenal currently possessing five first team German players, as well as one in the reserves, here are five Bundesliga players who could improve Arsenal’s squad.

1) Robert Lewandowski – Borussia Dortmund

The Poland international’s contract is up this summer and he already expressed his desire to find a new club when the season comes to a close. He has scored six goals in nine games this season and claimed two assists.

2) Marco Reus – Borussia Dortmund

The German already has five goals and four assists in the Bundesliga season from just 10 appearances and would fit beautifully into Arsenal’s flexible frontline.

3) Lasse Sobiech – Hamburg

A lesser known outlet now in the shape of Sobiech, who plies his trade at centre-back. Standing at 6ft5, the 22-year-old could learn his trade playing next to Per Mertesacker. He has averaged 5.5 clearances per game so far in the league.

4) Javi Martinez – Bayern Munich

The current crop of Bayern midfielders has meant that some have been left out in the cold, and the Spaniard is one of those. The bullish central midfielder would provide strong competition for the likes of Flamini and Mikel Arteta in the Gunners midriff.

5) Mario Mandzukic – Bayern Munich

Going back to Lewandsowski, if he completes his suspected move to Bayern then it leaves little hope for Croatia international Mandzukic. The lanky forward has scored seven goals in 10 appearances this season.
