10 Reasons Why Manchester United Can Still Win The Premier League This Season

After Manchester United’s win over Arsenal yesterday, here are 10 reason why United can still win the Premier League.

1) Gap

After their 1-0 win vs Arsenal yesterday afternoon, United have closed the gap from the top to just five points. Should results go their way over the next Premier League weekend then they could straight up to second in the league with three quarters of the season still to go.

2) RVP

The Dutchman has now scored seven league goals in 10 games. If Moyes can keep him ticking then they have every chance.

3) Options at the back

With Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Rafael, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, United have a huge wealth of options at the back.

4) Rooney

Similar to van Persie, if Moyes can keep Rooney scoring then they will have every chance. Rooney has scored five in 10 so far.

5) Away Form

Although United have already lost twice away from home, they have been against Manchester City and Liverpool, both of whom will be up there at the end of the season. City and Chelsea have both struggled away.

6) Blend of ages

United have a nice blend of ages at the club,  with the likes of Ryan Giggs mixing it with Adnan Januzaj. Jones, Danny Welbeck, Cleverley, Rafael, David De Gea, Smalling and Hernandez are 25 or under, as is the man I’m about to mention.

7) Kagawa getting involved

Moyes is finally getting the Japan international involved. The 24-year-old is one of the few creative talents that the club currently possess in my eyes and could prove the difference.

8)Options in attack

The aforementioned van Persie and Rooney, as well as Welbeck and Javier Hernandez means goals will probably flow for United again this term.

9) Old Trafford

The stadium has always been a fortress and this term has seen the Red Devils win three, draw two and lose one.

10) December

The festive period is likely to make or break the champions. They have nine fixtures lined up for the last month of the year, four of which are at home, and it gives them the opportunity to make up some ground.
