Cesc Fabregas broke the hearts of many Gooners when he upped sticks and returned to the club that welcomed him into the world of football Barcelona, back in 2011. The Spaniard owes a lot to Arsenal, having given him the chance to establish himself into the player he is right now, but the lure of trophies and his homeland proved too much. However, it seems as though the 26-year-old is growing frustrated in being in and out of the Blaugrana squad, so should he be looking to leave Camp Nou?
The former Gunner has completed just five full 90 minutes in his 12 La Liga appearances this season, and although he is generally putting in some fine performances – he has scored four goals and created 24 chances in that time – you can’t help but feel that he needs to be in a team that is built around him, rather than one packed full of the best players in the world.
The lack of playing time is something that I don’t agree with, although when you’re being thrown in and then taken out of the team it’s likely to have a mental affect on you.
I would love Fabregas back in the Premier League, and I’m sure many Arsenal fans would too, and I think he should make a switch back over here to fulfil his potential.
