Why Sending Anderson On Loan To Fulham Is Win-Win For David Moyes

When Manchester United picked up Anderson from Porto in 2006 it was thought that they had signed one of the most exciting young midfielders around at the time. He was only 19 when he made the switch, but he had already proved just how effective he could be with a run of games under his belt. Now, six years later, we are still waiting to see just why there was so much hype around the Brazil international.

It seems as though he is on his way to Fulham, however, as the Express report that a loan deal is being lined up to take the midfielder to Craven Cottage.

In my eyes, that is a win-win for United. Should Anderson go to London, find his fitness, pick up some form and put in some sterling performances then David Moyes will be welcoming back a player who could potentially fix their midfield ‘problem’.

Should he flop under Martin Jol’s guidance then it’s likely that it’ll confirm the end of his stay at Manchester United, which would make room for someone else coming in.

Anderson is a strong player who likes to run with the ball, have a shot from range and add some energy into their midfield. If you want to read a bit more into what he could offer the Premier League side then read our report on him here, and check out the video below.
