First He Sank Chelsea And Now He’s Being Linked With Tottenham – Player Report On £20m Winger

First he scores the goal to sink Chelsea, twice, and now he is being linked with a move to Tottenham, according to the Mirror. It has been a big few months for FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah.

His speed, his determination to beat a man and the way he can slip in and out of opposition areas is what made him so dangerous against the Blues and he showed it again on Tuesday evening in Switzerland. Not only did he three shots and score once, but he also won the vast majority of his take ons and completed 80% of his passes.

Tottenham have had trouble on the wings after flogging Gareth Bale to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer but the likes of Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Andros Townsend have impressed in stages, and even Aaron Lennon coming back from injury.

He is a flexible player, though, and would fit in well with Tottenham’s interchangeable style of play. The Egypt international is apparently rated at £20m and despite Spurs already spending a heap of money in the summer to compensate for the loss of Bale it seems that there is still money in the bank.

For me, the north London side could do a lot worse than this chap.
