VIDEO: Luis Suarez Scores Four Incredible Goals And Claims And Assist vs Norwich

Luis Suarez may not be the most popular player on the planet, but he’s certainly an incredible player when a ball is thrown at his feet. The Uruguayan scored four at Anfield yesterday evening as Liverpool romped to a 5-1 victory over Norwich, and he even claimed an assist in the latter stages.

The first of Suarez’s four goals was an outstanding effort from distance. Without thinking about the slim chance that he had of scoring from such a way away, Suarez wallops the ball on the half volley and it balloons in the air before looping over John Ruddy. [00:20]

His second was also a decent finish. As a corner was whipped in, Steven Gerrard’s failed flick on left the Norwich players static in the box and Suarez was quick to pounce on the incoming ball, smashing it wildly into the roof of the net from close range. [01:00]

His third was the cream of the crop, though, as he picks up the ball with no less than five Canaries surrounding him. He strides forward, flicks it round Leroy Fer, and smashes it low and hard into the bottom corner of the net. It really is a sensational goal. [01:35]

He rounded off his scoring with a superb free kick from about 25-yards out. The power and the whip he places in the shots leaves Ruddy with no chance. [03:05]

Then, with minutes left to play, faced with two defenders, he pokes a ball through with the outside of his foot to Raheem Sterling who then smashes it into the top corner to conclude the scoring. [04:21]

Suarez’s performance was nothing short of breathtaking and his four goals puts him top of the goalscorer’s tally in the Premier League with 13.
