Arsenal are enjoying a fabulous season this time round. They currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League after 15 games and Arsene Wenger is finding some consistency with his team. However, some players are playing more than others, naturally, so here are three that I think they should consider sending out on loan.
1) Ryo Miyaichi
After shipping the Japan international out on loan to Feyenoord, Bolton and then Wigan, he now finds himself on the fringes of the first team and in danger of hindering his progress as an individual.
He’s played 18 minutes of football in a game against Stoke earlier in the season but didn’t get the opportunity to show what he could do.
2) Nicklas Bendtner
Although he scored his first Arsenal goal in over two years last week, the great Dane is still expected to leave the club in January – by me, at least.
He isn’t in the calibre of player that they need to fire them to the title, in my eyes and they should be offloading the 25-year-old.
3) Thomas Vermaelen
The Belgian has found himself firmly in the background when it comes to first team action this season as Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny continue to impress. Perhaps offloading the 28-year-old on the new year would be the best option and to draft in a younger outlet.
