Review: Warrior Superheat – The Ultimate Speed Boot

As we approach the Christmas period many of you will be having a flick through the latest football boots searching for a pair of sturdy-yet-stylish to sport for the rest of the season.

Everyone has different requirements when selecting footwear for the season, but whether you opt for fashion or feel, Warrior have released a boot that surpasses any expectations, the Superheat.

The first thing you notice when slipping a pair on, apart from the vibrant colour variation, is just how natural the boot sits on the foot. Warrior have comprised a super-thin outer film for natural feel and close control with a lightweight, mesh base layer and topped it off with a thin second base, which balances the support and agility, to complete a revolutionary ‘tri-fusion’ bonded skin.

The Superheat are an explosive boot. Even for those who are not the quickest, like myself, or struggle to remain nimble on the pitch, like myself, the boots allow you zip around the pitch with minimal effort.

The tri-fusion tongue and the slipstream lacing system allow you to pluck balls out of the air without conceding possession and even when playing in wet conditions the ball seems to stick to your feet. Although the bright exterior of the foot may not sit well with the football traditionalist amongst us, the feel of the boot allows you to go hard into tackles and the membrane heel shield protects you from any unseen danger.

They are a wonderfully-constructed boot. The natural feel allows you  to have full control while  knowing that you are protected at all times. If they are good enough for Tom Ince, then they are more than good enough for me.
