What a shoddy couple of months it has been for Manchester United. We knew that replacing Sir Alex Ferguson would be difficult, but with the same squad who won the Premier League last season few expected the Red Devils would be sat in seventh after 20 games and 11 points off top. A reshuffle is a must this month, and here are three players who I would suggest they get rid of.
1) Ashley Young
The winger has no real future at United, in my eyes, and I think they should cash in on him while they may have a chance of gaining a bit of money back. His limp performances have frustrated United fans no end over the last year or two and with the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Adnan Januzaj available, I think Young’s time is up.
2) Javier Hernandez
The Mexican needs to move for the good of his career, for me. The lack of game time is damaging his performances and in turn hindering his goal return.
United have Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck to choose from, so I think they should sell him and use the money to reinforce the midfield.
3) Anderson
The Brazilian has shown no signs of stepping up to the mark as a first team regular and has run out of time for me. He makes no real impact on any game he plays in and is in trouble of letting his career slip away by sitting on the bench.
