After losing yet another game, more specifically another home game, David Moyes is really feeling the heat up at Old Trafford. Wilfried Bony struck in the 90th minute to send Swansea into the next round of the FA Cup, but the consequences could be huge for the former Everton manager. Now, according to the Express, he has admitted that he may not make a single signing this month, something which I think is the wrong thing to do.
Manchester United fans are in despair right now and they are getting laughed at by other clubs. What has been an aggressive Rottweiler for so long now has turned into a house-trained poodle, allowing opponents to over-power them.
United fans are convinced they need new faces at the club, and if they don’t get them then I am sure that their frustrations will grow even further.
I actually agree with the fans, and I would suggest that a big name midfield player should be top of the list. They hold some quality in the defensive positions in Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Marouane Fellaini, but they lack that player who can unlock defences from the midriff.
So, if he fails to make a signing this month not only will he be upsetting the fans, but his team could effectively wave the white flag in terms of their title challenge.
