Deadline Day: 3 Players Who Arsenal Should Be Making A Move For

Here we are – deadline day. Transfers will be flowing and football fans up and down the country will be hard at work…checking for the latest news. Arsenal lost top spot in the Premier League this week, and to get it back I would be looking to sign these three players today, if I was Wenger.

1) Julian Draxler

The tricky little playmaker has been linked with a move to the Emirates for a while now and it seems as though it is edging forward as we speak. The Germany international can play anywhere across the attacking options and would slot in nicely beside Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla.

2) Mario Mandzukic

With Olivier Giroud having played 31 games this season already for the north London side, it seems crucial that they draft in another striker to help him out. They have Nicklas Bentder, but he has never been one to rely on, and Lukas Podolski is not a natural striker.

Mandzukic has 13 goals this season in his 28 games, which follows 22 in 40 games last season.

3) Kurt Zouma

At the other end Arsenal have started to look a little suspect, with Laurent Koscielny showing why some don’t rate him as a top centre-half.

Zouma is a stronger player than his compatriot, he’s better in his passing and for me is already a better player despite still being just 19 years of age.

If I was Wenger I would certainly be making a move for the Saint-Etienne man.
