Deadline Day: 3 Players Who Liverpool Should Be Making A Move For

Liverpool are sat in fourth place right now and are looking strong for it, but they can always do with improvements to the squad. Here are three players who I suggest Brendan Rodgers looks at before the window slams shut.

1) Yevhen Konoplyanka

the winger is the talk of Merseyside right now as Brendan Rodgers chases his services. The dynamic attacker is able to play across any of the attacking spots behind the striker and would slot in nicely with Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and the front two at the club, Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.

Currently at Dnipro of Ukraine, the 24-year-old is establishing himself as one of the most impressive creative hubs in European football, and I believe that he would be perfect for the Reds.

2) Kurt Zouma

A strong, domineering centre-back, Zouma fits the specification of a typical Liverpool defender. However, he is a nimble player when on the ball and has an incredible passing range, which the current crop aren’t renowned for.

The 19-year-old should be a target for all the top clubs in my opinion but he would really enhance the Reds’ backline.

3) Luke Shaw

With Jose Enrique injured for the majority of the season, Liverpool have been left with Aly Cissocko at left-back and he has not cut the mustard.

For me Luke Shaw is the most exciting full-back in the country and the fact that he is still a teenager makes it even more impressive. He is the future, and whoever picks him up with be rewarded I think.
