Roy Keane has never been one to mince his words. The former Republic of Ireland boss is the type of man who you enjoy when he’s on your side but you loathe when he is the opposition, but he upset some Manchester United fans while he was playing for the club by labelling them the prawn sandwich brigade – or something to that effect.
He’s stuck his oar in was more though, as he has told ITV that the Red Devils are in need of a handful of players, in his opinion. He said: “I think Man United need five or six players. If it happens in the summer then instead of being fearful of it, embrace it – it’s exciting.”
But who should be on the shortlist? It’s hard to say, as I honestly believe that they are in need of a total re-shuffle in order to kick start their era under David Moyes.
It may not be a popular opinion, but I thoroughly believe Marouane Fellaini will come good, and the Belgian was a Moyes signing. Juan Mata speaks for himself, he’s an incredible player and is already pulling strings in the United side.
Here are six players who I think United should be making a move for.
