Arsenal: Make Plans To Offload Giroud And Sign Bundesliga Ace With 14 Goals

Arsenal got smashed by Everton yesterday, which has sparked debate whether the Gunners will indeed hold onto fourth place. Although the north London side led the Premier League for some time this season they are now struggling to contain their hold on Champions League football, and the fans are starting to panic.

A major issue has been the lack of options up top. Olivier Giroud has led the line for the entire season but he is not the man to win the Gunners the title. His movement is poor, his link up play is questionable and he is one of the slowest players in the team. I would start making plans to get rid of him in the summer.

The man I would suggest comes in to replace him, his Robert Firmino of Hoffenheim. He’s not an out and out striker, but I think that would work to the Gunners’ advantage.

He can play in the hole or on the wings, and can lead the line, and has 14 goals to his name in the Bundesliga this season.

He also has 10 assists, which is pretty good going considering his club are mid-table.
