THREE Reasons Why Manchester United Will Beat Bayern Munich Tonight

Manchester United take on Bayern Munich this evening at the Allianz Arena, in a game that few people have them down to win. The first leg finished 1-1 so it is all down to this one, and although it seems unlikely that the Bavarians will allow United to progress, here are three reasons why Manchester United will win the game.

1) Wayne Rooney

The bullish forward is looking likely to start tonight, which is a massie boost to the Red Devils. It could be the difference between David Moyes’ men staying in the competition or flailing out. Rooney has 17 goals and 15 assists this season, which is a ridiculous tally by anyone’s standards.

If Rooney starts, I think United will win.

2) Bayern complacent

Since winning the Bundesliga, Bayern have drawn to Hoffenheim (3-3), drawn to United (1-1), and lost their first league game in 54 outings, going down 1-0 to Augsburg. Bayern look flat right now and could easily be overrun, and I think this is the perfect time for United to play them.

3) Underogs

No one is expecting United to win, and I think that is when they are most dangerous. Moyes’ men have nothing to lose, so this, combined with the other two reasons, is why I think United will progress.
