Kalas To Start At CB? This Is How Chelsea Should Line Up vs Cardiff For Premier League Finale

Chelsea can secure second place in the Premier League on Sunday with a win against Cardiff, but only a win will do. To do that, Chelsea must go all out attack and put the sword to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and hope Liverpool lose their game. Here is how they should line up against the Bluebirds.

I’d play Mark Schwarzer in goal, with the same back four as they have started all season, but with someone coming into replace the injured John Terry. The main I would put forward is Tomas Kalas, who impressed against Liverpool a few games back.

That means I would have Branislav Ivanovic on the right, Cesar Azpilicueta on the left and Gary Cahill in the middle, partnering the 20-year-old Czech international.

In the central trio of my 4-3-3 I would opt for Nemanja Matic to hold the fort, and David Luiz and John Obi Mikel alongside.

In the forward lines I would go for Willian on the right, Andre Schurrle down the left and Demba Ba up top in the centre-forward role.

Willian works harder than most to track up and down the flank and provides the best of both worlds, while Ba has shown glimpses of form over the last few weeks.

Chelsea fans, would you agree?
