FPL Super XI: Must Have Point Machines Including Manchester United’s And Chelsea’s New Signings, And Liverpool Youngster

Fantasy Premier League Super XI:

Chelsea Costa

Fabregas and Costa

The lineup is based on fantasy football points, which is currently led by Chelsea hit man Diego Costa.

Goalkeeper:

Brad Guzan – Aston Villa: Guzan has been at the top of his game this season, after not getting to display his skills at the World Cup for USA. He has used the break well and has kept himself ready for the season, as he has kept 3 clean sheets in 5 games, including one against Liverpool. He shipped 3 goals against Arsenal last week, but those were 3 exceptional minutes for Arsenal. He is one of the popular players in the FPL, as he has a tendency to concede in a miserly manner even against better sides.

Defenders:

Eric Dier – Tottenham: Dier was purchased at a knock-down price, and has taken to the Premier League like a fish to water. He scored in his first two weeks, and started to look like the bargain of the season to FPL managers at a starting price of £5m. However, Tottenham have been winless for some time and that has hurt his lead over his contemporaries in the FPL. Alderweireld has since emerged as a good choice.

Nathaniel Clyne – Southampton: He has been one of the finds of the season. Koeman placed his trust in him, making him the first-choice right-back for Southampton, and he has delivered, scoring, defending and being a menace on the right flank. He is touted to make the leap to the England team and transfer moves are being planned by big clubs that wouldn’t mind prising this player from Southampton, too. He is a good choice for FPL managers, with his guaranteed selection.

Leighton Baines – Everton: He has developed a reputation as being a goal-scorer for Everton, which is why, year after year, he is one of the most expensive defenders in the FPL. He owns the left flank for Everton, and he could be one of the highest point-earners of he stays injury-free. He has done well for himself this time around, too, but most FPL managers might not be able to stump up the cash for a top player like him.

Midfielders:

Cesc Fabregas – Chelsea: Arsenal supposedly rejected their first-rights over him, which has seemingly come back to haunt them, with his consistently excellent displays for Chelsea since his move from Barcelona. He has the highest number of assists this season, but he has been helped by Costa, who is a terrific finisher. At Arsenal, he might not have been as great. FPL managers are replacing Hazard with him to boost their points, as his FPL price is increasing rapidly.

Raheem Sterling – Liverpool: He was one of the stars for Liverpool last season, and he has been in demand, even though Rodgers purchased wingers, as his price in comparison to his talent was too good to miss out on. He has been given the role of playing in the hole, which has made him an even more dangerous proposition for opposition defences, due to his ability to find space and ping the ball for the strikers. He has proved his worth to FPL managers by playing well even when Liverpool lost this week.

Angel di Maria – Manchester United: He has set the Premier League on fire since his arrival, and he has been the catalyst for United, popping up across the pitch, finding space, providing assists and scoring goals for fun. His removal in the game against Leicester was criticised, and he has emerged as the shining beacon of light in a fledgling United season. He is minting points in the FPL, and managers are swooping to get him into their teams with the potential points he can bring.

Gylfi Sigurrdsson – Swansea: He was Swansea’s impact player over the first three weeks, and good performances from him spurred Swansea on. However, in an influential position behind the striker, his failure to get going could influence the team’s chances in future fixtures. FPL managers have bought him, owing to his guaranteed game-time since his move from Tottenham, and he has looked confident in this Swansea team.

Morgan Schneiderlin – Southampton:

Forwards:

Diego Costa – Chelsea. Probably signing of the season so far. The Spanish striker is exactly a type of player Chelsea missed last season.

Leonardo Ulloa – Leicester – A surprised addition. Ulloa is a arial beast who is scoring headers for fun at the moment.
