(PICTURES): Theo Walcott meets Prince William

Arsenal star Theo Walcott looked immaculate as he dressed to meet Prince William taking time off from his regular training sessions. The midfielder met the second-in-line for the throne as part of an FA project. It is believed that the Football League, Premier League and British Council had asked young children from schools across the country to design plaques to commemorate the football match played during World War I on Christmas Day.

Walcott was tasked with choosing the competition winner, and posted the following message on his Instagram page:

“So many incredible entries for the @BritishCouncil#FootballRemembers competition. HRH The Duke of Cambridge and I have chosen 10 year old Steven Turner as the winner, congratulations!”

He also put up a picture sitting with Prince William.

There are also reports from English Tabloid Express that the Gunners are set to hand Walcott a bumper new contract. The 25-year-old has returned to training and manager Arsene Wenger is confident the winger will be available for action after the upcoming international break.
