Real Madrid Superstar Talks About Manchester United Rumours

Former Tottenham winger Gareth Bale is in the news again as a set of speculations surrounding him are flying around now. The Wales winger who signed for the Spanish giants in 2013, has been instrumental in helping Real lift their tenth European Cup last season. His performances and crucial goals right through the season, helped the Spanish side to secure some important victories last season.

But recent reports have hinted that the superstar’s future at the club is in doubts as the club seems determined to carry on their tradition of signing a marquee player each year. Manchester United are believed to be interested in luring the pacey winger back to England. However, the 25-year-old winger revealed that he is happy at Real Madrid and ruled out any possible move to premier league.

In an interview, Bale told Spanish radio,

“I can’t see myself at Manchester United. In an interview recently I was asked if I was happy in Madrid and I said that I was very happy here. I have a long contract still to go, I am enjoying myself and we are winning trophies. I want to continue doing this at Real Madrid.”

Bale then went on to dispel the myth that he and Cristiano Ronaldo are at loggerheads.

“There is no rivalry between us. We have meetings to talk about tactics. Normally if there is a free-kick from the left then Cristiano takes it and on the right it would be me. We get on well. I don’t think I’m greedy. On the pitch I make assists and score goals. I play the game how I like to play and the press can say what they want.”
