According to Tuttosport, the Italians have now joined the English pair in the race to sign Gignac at the end of the season. The Serie A club has also been impressed by the striker’s current form and his spectacular performances this season in Ligue 1. Roberto Mancini who has just made a comeback to Inter, has been handed the job of rebuilding a strong team and bringing Inter back to the top level, to compete for trophies. The former Champions League winners have struggled this season, as Juventus look to clinch a fourth consecutive Seria A title.

Gignac is on form of his life at the moment and had scored a phenomenal 15 goal tally in just 22 appearances till now this season. The French side is trying its best to persuade the former Toulouse man to sign a new deal with them but are aware they cannot compete with the wages being offered by some of the other clubs. Now, in this three club race, which side actually grabs hold of the Frenchman remains to be seen, as the transfer window is open till the 2nd of February and Wenger, Rodgers and Mancini, look to strengthen their sides.
