Should Chelsea Sign This Future Star In The Making?

If there is any club which has taken full advantage of FFP and the loan system in England, it has to be Chelsea. Maybe it was Jose Mourinho’s sweet talking ability but to get £50 million for the ‘defender’ David Luiz still remains one of the greatest deals ever in history of football. Jokes apart, the club have had a history of getting good young talent, loaning them out and then later on selling them for massive profits.

Some of the more recent examples are Romelu Lukaku and Thorgan Hazard, who were bought for rather low amounts of money but were sold for massive profits after being on loan at various clubs. In fact the Chelsea transfer system is something which every club should aim to replicate simply because they seem to get much more money from selling players, the case in point being Andre Schurrle and Kevin De Bruyne.

Another youngster seems set to be in the sights for Jose Mourinho and Chelsea with Valencia U16 defender Carlos Badal, it seems the 15 year old defender might be on track to sign for the Chelsea youth team and we look at what really it is that has caught the eye of the Premier League leaders.

A future star in the making

The Daily Express claims the player is set to switch the Mestalla for Stamford Bridge, it seems the club is ready to make an offer for the defender who has played this season for the youth team of Los Che.

The youngster is a Spanish U16 international and has impressed recently for the youth team of Valencia and whether he would like to move to England or not will be seen. Chelsea have had a habit of getting young players and this season was no different as they brought in Kurt Zouma, who has impressed massively for the blues this season.

The same can be said about Thibaut Courtois who has been able to replace Petr Cech from the first team, Courtois was out at loan to Atletico Madrid for a couple of seasons before he was brought back into Chelsea where he has been spectacular.

There is a word of caution for the young star in the making as he is still a youngster and moving to another country may not work out for him, also Chelsea are notorious for overfilling their contingent of young players, loaning them out and then completely forgetting about them. The 15 year old might be able to make head turns now, it is a tough decision to make and hopefully he will make the right one.
