Deal Likely To Go Through! Chelsea To Do Business With La Liga Giants

Former La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are looking to bring Filipe Luis back to Spain from Chelsea on loan, as per recent reports. However, it seems that the proposal should be rebuffed by the Blues who want to make most of the £16m that they paid for the Brazilian to bring him to Stamford Bridge last summer.

It was claimed last month that Atletico manager Diego Simeone admitted that he would love to have his former defensive superstar back at the club.

In an interview, Simeone had said, “He is a player that we love both because he is a great kid and because we know him well and he gave a lot to this team [when he was here]. I hope it happens.”

Toby Alderweireld was being offered to the west London club as part of an initial offer, but it seems he is now joining Tottenham for £11.5m after he completed his medical on Tuesday morning.
