Brazilian striker Luiz Adriano has been superb for Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk this season scoring a tally of nine goals in just seven Champions League appearances. Due to this, a long list of European giants are looking to sign the 27-year-old superstar, who has now confirmed that he is all set to leave the club once his contract expires in December and told TalkSPORT,
“My plan is to respect the contract, which has not been renewed and will expire in December 2015.”
“I am in a good moment of my career and we’ll do what will be best for me and for the club.”
“With my contract set to expire and many good performances, it’ll be difficult to stay in Ukraine.”
Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are leading the race at the moment to secure Adriano’s signature and the possibility of a move to England sure could be on the cards, with the Brazilian international looking for a new challenge elsewhere in the near future.
