Love him or loathe him, Cristiano Ronaldo is actually going to pick up his 100th cap for Portugal tomorrow night.
How in cats hell has he managed that?! I hear you cry. Probably the same way Lukas Podolski has surpassed the century marker for Germany.
Being consistantly amazeballs.
There we go, I said it and I’ll say it again! Amazeballs!
CR7 has been nothing short of fantastic since Manchester United snapped him up all those years ago, yes – it was NINE years ago that Cristiano Ronaldo came to England as that cocky, leg flicky, crappy haircut Portugeezer who lit up the Premiership like Richmond Park on Bonfire night.
He’s still doing the leg flicky shizniz now-a-days and his barnet actually alters the outcome of football matches, but he is now 9 years wiser and should be respected for his outstanding contribution to World Football. (Diving aside…)
Ronaldo has everything, girls, glamour, enough cash to fill the Grand Canyon and all the trophies that club football can buy. But there are a couple of things missing from his collection… medals from the World and European stage.
Similar to his nemesis Leo Messi – he appears to have been born in the wrong generation in which to collect these top prizes (excl Olympics) or one neighbouring country away from being the worlds greatest ever.
Let’s enjoy some of his amazeballs unbelievable tekkers and praise Lord Ronnie…
