After years of financial uncertainty, relegation after relegation and blog after blog by me, my beloved Portsmouth are finally on the mend.
The Portsmouth Supporters Trust or the PST (if you prefer acronyms) yesterday agreed a deal with previous owner Balram Chanarai for the sale of Fratton Park – thus paving the way for the PST to take over, fully.
PST Chairman, Ian McInnes, has targetted the 21st April 2013 as the date Portsmouth will exit administration.
As planned, a ten point deduction still needs to be put in place and as Portsmouth look set to be relegated to League Two anyway, many feel this deduction should be ‘saved’ until next season.
In my opinion ((IMO)( for the acronym fans again) the ten points need to be deducted now, immedietly. This would mean that for the first time in a long while, Portsmouth will start a season, administration free, Chanarai free and can really start a fresh.
But that’s just my bias opinion, of course.
