Pre-match Preview Blackburn Rovers vs Bolton Wanderers Saturday 30th April ko 3pm
Blackburn are still yet to win since the end of January after their Monday night clash with Manchester City ended in a 1-0 defeat causing Rovers to be just a point above the relegation zone. Rovers were unlucky to lose but none of the chances created troubled Joe Hart, a problem which Chris Samba said needs to be rectified and quick.
Junior Hoilett was set to return on Monday but must have had a setback as he is only 50/50 for the Bolton game. David Dunn has a calf injury while Roque Santa Cruz may possibly miss out with a hamstring injury. Steven Nzonzi returns to the squad from his 3 match suspension since his red card at the Emirates.
Bolton have had a mixed couple of weeks after a humiliating 5-0 thrashing to Stoke in the FA Cup semi final followed by a surprising 2-1 win against Arsenal before a 3-0 away drubbing to Fulham.
Bolton are sweating on the fitness of on loan striker Daniel Sturridge who is trying to overcome an ankle injury sustained at the Arsenal game. Steinsson has a knee problem and will probably miss this game while midfielder Mark Davies is doubtful as he himself has an ankle injury.
The referee for this game is Mike Dean
Prediction: Every game is a cup final for Rovers now and this might be their best chance of getting 3 points as the other games look harder, surely their luck must change as well. 1-0 Blackburn.
