Not much has gone wrong for Arsenal this season so far. The Gunners sit top of the Premier League, top of their Champions League group and are in a strong position to finally win some silverware. But they won’t have everything their own way, as it seems that they are locked in a battle with not only Liverpool, but with Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Genoa and Benfica for the services of Konstantinos Mitroglou.
The 25-year-old forward has been in thrilling form so far this season, having scored 17 goals in just 15 games for current side Olympaikos.
But if he was to switch to Arsenal, where would he fit in?
Olivier Giroud is number 1 at the Emirates, but you cannot ignore a goalscoring tally like that. Arsene Wenger plays one up top, so it may be a case of him and Giroud taking it in turns to lead the line, and replacing each other in certain circumstances.
Mitroglou is a pacier player than Giroud but is also strong in the air, so maybe they could be used in different games which suit their strengths.
With a front pairing as talented as the Greece international and Giroud then my money would be going on the north London side to claim the title, and you will see why if you watch the clip below.
