I am expecting a flurry of transfer activity in the next two weeks and I suspect that a lot of that will be from Manchester United. David Moyes’ shaky tenure in charge of the club hasn’t gone to plan to date and they still sit some way behind leaders Arsenal, but it looks as though the former Everton boss is ready to start making some changes.
the Daily Mail are saying that he is on the verge of ridding the club of midfield trio of Anderson, Nani and Wilfried Zaha with the latter two going on loan.
After a number of years without making an impact it seems as though Brazilian midfielder Anderson will join Fiorentina this month, and for me I think it’s a good decision. Zaha hasn’t featured and is in need of a move away to regain some form, and Nani can’t get a look in either.
But who’s next?
There are a number of United players who are out of contract in the summer, including – Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic, and the likes of Alex Buttner, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Anders Lindegaard and Antonio Valencia are said to be on their way out also.
For me, it has to be Tom Cleverley. He reduces the balance in the midfield and has been nothing short of awful this season, and in my eyes he should be shipped out alongside the trio I previously mentioned.
His passing is quite strong, but his touch is poor and he is often lacking creativity when in attack. He can no longer be considered a youngster and United need real quality in their midfield.
United fans, who would you flog?
