FLOPS: 3 Chelsea Players Who Should Be Offloaded At The End Of The Season

Chelsea have had a fine season this time round under Jose Mourinho but could yet fall flat near the finishing line. Here are three players who should be released from the club in the summer.

1) Ryan Bertrand

The left-back has been on loan at Villa for a while now and has done nothing to suggest that he will ever be good enough to be a regular at Chelsea.

For me I would give him the boot because the west London club have Ashley Cole and Cesar Azpilicueta already on their books, and I think Luke Shaw should be targeted in the summer.

2) John Obi Mikel

The Nigerian is a player who you would want in your side if you were two or three goals up in a game to kill it off. The midfielder is brilliant at disrupting opposition play and keeping the ball moving but offers little else.

For me I would give him the boot at the end of the season and thank him for what he has done.

3) Demba Ba

One goal against Paris Saint Germain is not going to cut it I am afraid. His performances since he arrived at the Bridge have been poor, and I for one would like to see him revert to a level he is good enough.  Chelsea is not that level.
