With David Luiz linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain, here are three other Chelsea players who could follow the Brazil international out of the Stamford Bridge exit this summer.
1) Fernando Torres
The Spaniard is still struggling to find his feet after his big money move back in 2011 but I think he has played his last game in a Chelsea shirt. Having scored just 11 goals in 41 games last season I am guessing that Mourinho will be after a striker with a stronger record to lead his line next season.
2) John Obi Mikel
It’s a simple case of not being good enough to compete with the players already there. The Nigeria international is used to playing a more offensive role in his national side but is competing with David Luiz, Nemanja Matic and Ramires in the holding roles, as well as Frank Lampard and Michael Essien at the start of the season.
I think he should be looking for a move.
3) Demba Ba
In a similar situation to Torres’, Ba just hasn’t scored enough goals. With Romelu Lukaku coming back in I think the former Newcastle forward may have to drop to a smaller club to re-establish his reputation.
