A rejuvenated Newcastle United picked up their fourth straight win in a row and their third successive win in the Premier League to beat a struggling Liverpool side by a 1-0 scoreline at St James Park. Substitute Ayoze Perez scored the winner from close range to send the Magpies fans to sheer jubilation. Liverpool though struggled on thw whole and the Reds are set to face further misery when they travel to Stantiago Bernabeu and then Chelsea in their upcoming clashes withing 7 days time.
Striker Mario Balotelli though isn’t concerned. The Italian was kept under heavy scrutiny by the Newcastle defenders and wasn’t given any inch of space to run at. Balotelli though kept other 21 players waiting during start of second half and we have a picture of that for our readers courtesy 101 Great Goals.
The kickoff was delayed for quite some seconds as Balotelli strolled out late. The former AC Milan striker might have been receiving some last moment instruction from manager Brendan Rodgers. However, we didn’t see any application on the pitch.
