8 Premier League Players Whose Contracts Are Nearly Up

I’ve recently looked at free agents who are available at the moment which is all well and good, but I’d like to take a look at potential free agents next summer who I’m sure managers are more interested in as well. Some of the players on this list may surprise you as you may be shocked that they haven’t been offered a new contract yet, but they are technically free agents next summer at the moment. Things could change and many of these players may sign a new deal, but if not then there are plenty of bargains to be had.

5 Surprise Contenders For Player Of The Year

This is a list that basically just evaluates which players have particularly stood out when we as fans didn’t think they would. It’s perhaps too early to talk of player of the season nominations, but it’s a headline that people would be more attracted to than ‘5 players I feel are doing well so far’. Anyway, that’s not important. What is important is the players I feel deserve to go on this list. Obviously there are players that will be nominated that won’t make this list, the likes of Robin van Persie, Sergio Aguero and Luis Suarez, but I’m confident that if these players maintain their current form then they will be in with a chance.

5 La Liga players Premier League clubs should look at

La Liga is often rich with players that perhaps the common football fan hasn’t heard of but could make a massive impact in the Premier League should they choose to move. I’m picking players which some of you may not have heard of because, as with the case of Michu, it’s important for us and clubs to look beyond the big three Spanish sides. This enables managers to find players that will benefit their club without having to break the bank to get them. The players I’m going to talk about have been very good this season for their respective clubs and have consistently churned out impressive performances.

4 German youngsters Premier League clubs should consider

Germany is well known for being able to produce world class talent for the European elite to fight over from a young age. German players are arriving on our shores in large numbers and are seemingly here to stay, with Mesut Ozil being the latest high profile German to make the switch to England. He followed in the footsteps of Andre Schurrle, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, Thomas Eisfeld, Serge Gnabry, Marko Marin, Sascha Riether, Lewis Holtby, Robert Huth and many more that have graced our pitches in the past. Germany are famous for producing dedicated, passionate, energetic, efficient and extremely talented players that some clubs have spotted and are now forming a core of players in this country. Arsenal and Chelsea in particular are creating squads full of Germans  in a bid to try and dominate the English game. Here are a selection of youngsters that could light up the Premier League in years to come:

5 Player That Could Boost Manchester United’s Title Hopes – Includes Chelsea Playmaker

Manchester United have had an up and down season so far, with far too many downs than they’ll want to admit to, but they have struggled. The change in managers hasn’t helped and performances have suffered because of it – the average players really have proven themselves to be just that. For this reason, United sit in 8th, two points behind seventh placed Everton and 8 points of league leaders, Arsenal.
