REPORT: Liverpool look to make a swoop for Real Madrid’s midfielder superstar

Asier Illarramendi looks most certain to leave the Bernabeu this summer. The Spanish midfielder, who has failed to impress at Real Madrid and has not been able to establish himself in the first team since joining from Spanish rivals Real Sociedad prior to the 2013/2014 season. Luka Modric’s recent injury too, did not see Illarramendi claim a position in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, with the Brazilian Lucas Silva joining from Cruzeiro and clinching that spot.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial confirmed on Thursday that Premier League side Liverpool are tracking the progress of the deep-lying midfielder. According to the report, The Reds will challenge Spanish outfit Athletic Bilbao, who had previously tried to complete a move for Illarramendi, while he was still at Real Sociedad. If Liverpool do manage to secure a Champions League, that would be a huge boost in their hopes of signing the former Spanish U-23 international. Further, Spanish international Xabi Alonso has urged his compatriot to join the Anfield side, by suggesting that their style of play may suit him. With a long list of young and talented players at the Merseyside club, it would be a huge boost for manager Brendan Rodgers, if the 24 year old defensive midfielder did decide to sign with his club.

Liverpool look to seal the deal for Turkish midfield superstar in the summer

Premier League side Liverpool are desperate to sign Atletico Madrid’s midfielder superstar Arda Turan and have made him their priority, for the summer transfer window. The Reds have been monitoring Turan’s progress, for the last 18 months and were alerted, when news came out that he is ready to leave the Spanish champions and consider a move to England.

Reports in Spain are suggesting that the Anfield side are prepared to ‘go all out’ with a £25.6million bid, as they look to add more quality to their side in search of silverware, after being dumped out of the Europa league on Thursday evening by Turkish side Besiktas. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is quite confident that the Merseyside club can land the star, known as the ‘Turkish Cristiano Ronaldo’, to add more quality to his midfield, in the near future.

Liverpool On Big Alert As Summer Midfield Target Is Unhappy At Spanish Outfit

Liverpool could once again be set to make a move  for Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, according to Spanish website Fichajes. The 28 year old Turkish international was heavily linked with a move to Anfield over the past two transfer windows and has put in an impressive set of performances for the current La Liga champions.

Now, the Premier League giants have been alerted that Turan wants to leave the Spanish capital and a move to England could surely be on the cards for him. The Reds are in need of more attacking options, after being knocked out of the title race and all cup competitions this season, apart from the FA Cup, which is their last hope of winning some silverware. Brendan Rodgers would surely want to change that next season, if he wishes to retain his job at the club and would try to secure a Champions League spot as well.

WOW! Liverpool striking duo among top 10 penalty takers in FIFA 15

Its funny how Breandan Rodgers decided to substitute Mario Balotelli prior to the penalty shootout against Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday evening. However, in the latest version of FIFA, there is a lot more to taking a penalty than just taking a simple aim and putting the ball into the corner, as was the case in the previous versions of the game. A lot more skill has been added to the gameplay, with each player possessing his technique and individual ability at shooting from the spot.

A video has been created showing a breakdown of the top 10 penalty takers in FIFA 15, which surprisingly features two of Liverpool strikers, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert. After being knocked out of the Europa League on penalties on Thursday evening, the Reds fans would be surely wondering why Mario Balotelli wasn withdrawn from the pitch, with the possibility of a shootout. Lambert came on as a substitute, and scored his spot kick in the shootout, without too much fuss, but should the Italian have been kept on? One Liverpool player who definitely does not feature in this top 10 is the man who was guilty of missing the crucial penalty that knocked Liverpool out of the competition, Dejan Lovren…

Massive News! Liverpool target rejects bid from Spanish outfit in favour of Anfield move

Burnley are looking to cash in on Danny Ings, as the forward has rejected a recent bid from La Liga side Real Sociedad, for a move to Anfield. The newly promoted Premier League side are keen of making more money if the free-agent striker joins the Reds as they would have to pay around £6m in compensation while he would only cost the Spaniards, a mere £300,000. The 22 year old flew to Spain this month as David Moyes’ side have set him as a target, with the youngster out of contract this summer.

However, Ings has now set his heart on a move to the Merseyside at the end of the current campaign. Tottenham, Manchester City and surprisingly league leaders Chelsea have all been in the chase for the Burnley hitman. Brendan Rodgers would surely be interested to add yet another young talented striker to his side, after Liverpool were knocked out of the Europa league by Besiktas on Thursday night.

Replacement For Steven Gerrard Ready: Liverpool Target German World Cup Winning Mid-fielder

It has been reported by German football magazine SportBild’s Wednesday edition that the future of Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira is quite uncertain. The World Cup winning midfielder is in contract with the club which is set to expire in June and is available on a free transfer. Khedira is now looking to talk to clubs which are interested in acquiring his services and sign a pre-contract agreement, hoping to complete the move once his deal at the Bernabeu ends.

This could be a great opportunity for many European giants looking to add a high quality and expreinced midfielder. The 27 year old would be an excellent addition to any squad, when he is full form. The only problem would be that his total appearances over the last few seasons have been quite low, largely due to injury.

SportBild further say that Premier League giants Liverpool are looking at the German international as a potential replacement for skipper Steven Gerrard, who is set to leave the club and join MLS side LA Galaxy at the end of the season. It would be a gamble, though SportBild suggest that, Liverpool and several clubs are still considering it. The Spanish media had earlier suggested that Khedira could possibly move to Bayern Munich but SportBild thinks that if the midfield superstar does return to the Bundesliga, Schalke would be the club.

The man who is always in controversy for the things that he does, was seen in a video from Liverpool training on Saturday.
